The former Bechem United star joined the Phobians prior to the start of the 2020/21 season and won the league with the former Caf Champions League winners.
Despite failing to net a single goal for Hearts of Oak, Tetteh says he’s happy his outfit bwon the league title for the very first time in twelves years.
The 30-year old forward struggled for playing time with the ‘Phobians’ having played in less than 7 matches in the entire season.
The former Al Hilal striker speaking in an interview about his general performance for the club expressed his elation for their league-winning triumph despite not scoring just a goal.
He, however, adds it is useless to score more goals and end up winning nothing for your club.
‘Though I couldn’t score a goal in the league for Hearts of Oak. I’m happy we won the league.’ He told Onua TV
‘It’s useless to score thousand goals as a player and go trophyless with your club.’ He concluded.
Tetteh and his other Hearts of Oak teammates are currently in camp preparing for Sunday’s MTN FA Cup final against Ashantigold SC at the Accra Sports Stadium.
