The Ghana Football Association (GFA) Disciplinary Committee has formally charged three Nations FC players — Rabin Ousmane Sanon, Kofi Mensah, and Emmanuel Annor — for acts of misconduct during their Ghana Premier League fixture against Basake Holy Stars.
The incident, which took place at the Ampain A.A.K II Park, has drawn the attention of the GFA, with the players cited under the 2019 GFA Disciplinary Code and Ghana Premier League Regulations.
According to the charges, Rabin Sanon and Kofi Mensah are accused of assaulting match officials during or after the game. Additionally, Kofi Mensah and Emmanuel Annor allegedly damaged property, including the tunnel and the gate leading to the dressing room.
The GFA emphasized that these charges reflect its commitment to upholding discipline and preserving the integrity of the league.
The three players have until Friday, 13th June 2025, to submit their responses to the allegations.
