Ghana forward Bernard Tekpetey is confident of a sweet victory against Algeria on Friday.
According to him, the Black Meteors have prepared well and hoping to convert their chances in their crunch U23 Afcon qualifier clash against Algeria.
The Fortuna Dusseldorf forward who is among the 11 foreign players invited by coach Ibrhaim Tanko for the qualifier says he expects nothing but a ‘good game’ against their Algerian counterparts at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday.
The Black Meteors are facing Algeria in a two leg clash to determine which of the side’s qualify for the African championship.
The aggregate winner of the double-header qualifiers, automatically will qualify to the 2019 U-23 Afcon which will be staged in Egypt in November this year.
Speaking exclusively to SportsworldGhana.com ahead of the crucial clash, Tekpetey said ” We have prepared well and hoping to take our chances,”
”We want to make the nation proud with our quality by qualifying ahead of Algeria.
He continued ” With every good game there is a strong support behind it therefore we expect the supporters to come to the stadium in their numbers to cheer us to victory,”
