Black Satellites goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad has apologized to Ghanaians following his team’s defeat to Gambia in their final group game on Monday.
Ghana despite picking an early lead through forward Fatawu Issahaku, suffered a 2-1 defeat to the Gambia in the final Group C game in the ongoing Africa U-20 Cup of Nations being held in Mauritania.
The Gambian got the equalizer before the 20th-minute mark.
He also pulled an awe-inspiring save during the game against Gambia.

Ghana goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad committed an unpardonable mistake resulting in Ghana conceding its second goal in the 34th-minute through Kajaally Drammeh’s freekick.
The Kotoko goalkeeper failed to save the direct free kick from entering the net.
He has since apologized for the team’s performance and assured the fans of a win against Morocco on Thursday.

Despite the 2-1 loss, Ghana still qualified out of Group C as the third-best team having picked four points from the group games.
