The Black Satellites of Ghana drew goalless against their Moroccan counterparts in the ongoing CAF U-20 tournament in Mauritania.
Satellites were the second-best team on the night in the opening exchanges of the match and failed to create chances in the entire despite growing into the game later on.
Goalkeeper, Danlad Ibrahim was called to action several times in the first half and was at his maximum best as he provided crucial saves to make sure it ended 0-0 after the first 45 minutes.
After the break, the Ghanaians couldn’t replicate the fine and strong performance they exhibited in their first match when they Walloped Tanzanian by a 4-0 score line and gave the Moroccans a lot of room to operate.
Despite not being at their best against Morocco, the Ghana U-20 team managed to keep the Young Red Devils at bay to keep their second clean sheet in the tournament so far and remain top of the table on goal difference with four points same as second-placed Morocco.
Ghana will face Gambia in their last group match in three days time and would qualify to the next stage of the competition with a draw on Monday.
