It was a very emotional moment before the commencement of the first leg of the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League in Lubumbashi, DR Congo.
Rainfor Kalaba who spent 13 trophy-laden years with the Congolese giant was involved in a fatal accident last week in Lusaka. He was confirmed dead but later was revealed that he was still alive but in an Intensive Care Unit.
The former Zambia International, Rainford Kalaba, is hospitalized at UTH in Lusaka where doctors have reported he has made remarkable progress in his recovery following the accident.
Stade TP Mazembe clapped and showed love and admiration for their formal star. Kalaba’s jersey was lifted in the air around the stadium signalling their 100% support for Kalaba.
