Bibiani Gold Stars could not continue their marriage with midfielder Frank Amankwah after both parties failed to agree on a new deal.
The central midfielder who joined Bibiani Gold Stars from Eleven Wonders in January 2020 and has been an integral part of the Miners squad since then waved the club goodbye on Thursday afternoon.
Nicknamed Pablo Aimar because of his diminutive stature and style of play, Frank Amankwah played 29 Premier League matches for Bibiani Gold Stars en route to their success in the 2024-25 season Premier League.
He was expected to be part of the club’s journey in the 2025-26 CAF Champions League, but has ended his stay with the Bibiani-based club.
