Roma and Inter Milan are looking on with interest following reports that Ghana international Kwadwo Asamoah will not renew his expiring deal with Juventus.

After months of uncertainty regarding his future at Allianz Stadium, the 29-year-old, who joined the Old Lady from Udinese in 2012, has reportedly decided not to extend his contract, which is set to run out at the end of the season.

In that regard, the utility man will leave on a free, a situation Juve had hoped to avert by offering a new contract.

Having been reduced to a squad player over the years, the Ghanaian has set his heart on a move away in his search for regular action.

Last summer, he came close to sealing a move to Turkish giants Galatasaray, but the transfer fell through as Juve failed to find a replacement.

Although a January move has not been completely ruled out, reports say the Ghanaian will likely leave at the end of the season, as Juve are uncertain about the future of Alex Sandro and Stephan Lichtsteiner, who have both been linked to transfers in the current window.

Galatasaray remain a possible destination for Asamoah, but transfer speculations say the Italian duo of AS Roma and Inter Milan are the latest to join the race for his signature.

The midfielder has made nine league appearances, involving eight starts, so far, this season.
