Agostinho Cristóvão, popularly known as Mabululu was a star turn in the 2023 AFCON in Ivory Coast in Angola’s route to the quarter-finals.
Angola finished ahead of Algeria, Mauritania and Burkina Faso in Group D of the 2023 AFCON. Angola thrashed Namibia 3-0 in the Round 16 and lost 1-0 to Nigeria in the quarter-finals. The 31 year old Mabululu Paciencia Cristóvão scored 3 goals in the 5 games he played and he was a constant menace to his opponents defence in Ivory Coast.
