The former FC Barcelona striker netted his third league goal for Besiktas in Thursday’s win over Kasimpasa in the Week 31 encounter.
The 33-year old joined Turkish Süper Lig club Beşiktaş in January on loan for the remainder of the 2019–20 season and has appeared in 10 league matches scoring twice in the process taking his seasonal tally to 4 goals in 25 games having scored once for Fiorentina in 14 matches before leaving for Turkey.
Besiktas scored first before Kasimpa equalized and took the lead in the 30th minute.
Boateng came off the bench in the 37th min of the first half and needed just four minutes after the break to register the equalizer bringing the game to 2-2 before Guven Yalcin scored the winner for the home side who are now 4th on the standings with three more games to end the season.
