Two-goal hero Kwame Opoku wins MoTM award

Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC striker, Kwame Opoku was named Man-Of-The-Match in his team’s victory over Liberty Professionals FC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday.

The 21-year-old predator finisher played full throttle for his team as they brush aside their opponents by a 2-0 score line to secure a vital home win in the Ghana Premier League.

Kwame Opoku scored his first goal of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up on the tenth minute with a left-footed strike.

The young striker was at it again nine minutes later when he beautiful controlled Fabio Gama’s pass to go past two defenders before finishing exquisitely to put the Porcupines in a two goals lead.

The game ended 2-0 to the Red and Whites who picked their third win of the campaign to move up the ladder to occupy sixth position after seven matches.

Opoku has found the back of the net five times this season in the Ghana Premier League and is third on the goal scoring chat with a game less than his competitors.
