The Black Princesses of Ghana held Cameroon to a 1-1 draw game in the first leg of the final FIFA 2018 World Cup qualifier in Yaounde on Sunday afternoon.
The host picked the lead in the first half courtesy Alexandra Engolo’s 11th minute strike after mounting incessant pressure on the Yusif Basigi’ts team.
The Ghanaian side despite conceding an early goal never gave up but kept pushing forward for an equalizer until Pricilla Adobea netted the needed equalizer for the visitors on the 52nd minute.
The reverse leg of the clash will come off in two weeks time in Ghana.
