Ghanaian defender Abraham Akwasi Frimpong was a pillar a the back for Ferencvarosi Torna Club in their 2-1 defeat to Juventus in a UEFA Champions League Group G game on Tuesday night in Turin.
The talented Ghanaian centre-back was one of the best players on the pitch earning great applauds from the commentator as he held the Juventus attackers including Ronaldo at bay.
Frimpong defended gallantly at the back and occasionally sent incisive passes to midfield for his team to begin attack.
Ferenvarosi opened the scoring in the 15th minute through Myrto Uzuni before Ronaldo restored parity for the home side with ten minutes to the end of the first half.
It took a 92nd-minute goal from substitute Alvaro Morata to win the game for the Italian champions.
