Ghanaian midfielder, Ernest Agyiri was among the goal scorers for FC Lavadia in their big win against St. Joseph’s FC in the 2021-22 UEFA Conference League.
The former Manchester City player enjoyed full throttle as the Green and Whites win big to gain an advantage over the Gibraltar side ahead of next week’s clash in Gibraltar on Thursday.
Zakaria Beglarisvili scored the opening goal of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up early in the game in less than 100 seconds to unsettle the away team.
Ernest Agyiri followed it up with a nice strike on the 9th minute of the match to make it 2-0 to the home team under 10 minutes of action.
Levadia dominated the first half after going in front with good passages of play and were the better side for the greater part of the opening half.
Eighteen minutes from time, Marco Putincanin converted a spot kick to grab the third goal for the home team before Cristian Pecci scored a consolation two minutes later.
Agyiri and his team won the game 3-1 at home to get the advantage before traveling to Gibraltar for the second leg clash.
