English born Ghanaian winger Callum Hudson-Odoi says he’s happy to have scored in Chelsea’s 3-0 win over Swedish side Malmo FF in the Uefa Europa League on Thursday night.
The Ghanaian youngster scored a brilliant second-half goal as the blues cruised into the Europa League last 16 with victory over Malmo at Stamford Bridge.
French forward Olivier Giroud gave them the lead on the night by tapping home, before Ross Barkley added the second with a floating free kick.
Hudson-Odoi, then drove in from the right before firing in a late third.
The teenager started with influential playmaker Hazard on the bench, and he did not disappoint as he produced an impressive performance on the night.
This was his first start since the FA Cup fourth-round game against Nottingham Forest at the start of January, and his selection was greeted with one of the biggest cheers of the night.
”Good 3-0 win yesterday night, happy to get another goal, on to round 16.” the Bayern Munich target posted on twitter.
