Ukrainian club Kryvbas Kryvyi has chosen not to pursue a permanent deal for Konadu Yiadom, sending him back to Ghana as his loan spell concludes at the end of June.
The total number of appearances Yiadom made during his loan remains undisclosed. Previously with the West African Football Academy, Yiadom departed Hearts of Oak after failing to reach a contract extension agreement with the club.
Having played a significant role for Hearts of Oak upon his arrival, featuring in over 18 matches and scoring one goal during the 2022/23 season, Yiadom’s departure marks the end of a successful stint with the club. He contributed to their victories in the MTN FA Cup and President’s Cup.
Yiadom joined Hearts of Oak from WAFA and spent just one season with them.
The next steps for the former WAFA defender are uncertain, whether he will return to Hearts of Oak or join a different local club.
