The Black Stars resumed training on Tuesday after head coach Kwasi Appiah submitted his final 23-man squad to CAF on Monday.
Black Meteors captain Yaw Yeboah alongside FC Nantes striker Majeed Waris, Kotoko forward Fatawu Safiu, Ebenezer Ofori and Hearts of Oak defender Mohammed Alhassan were all dropped from the provisional 29-man list.
However, the final 23 players for the continental showpiece continued their preparations for the tournament at the Jebel Ali Centre of Excellence in Dubai.
