German lower-tier side FSV Zwickau have officially unveiled German-born defender of Ghanaian descent Steffen Nkansah who has joined them in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The 24-year old former TSG Hoffeinhem defender joins the Bundesliga 3 side FSV Zwickau on a two-year deal as free agent following the expiration of his contract with Eintracht Braunschweig this season.
Sporting Director Toni Wachsmuth expressed satisfaction with the defender’s capture.
”With Steffen Nkansah we have signed a trained central defender who was a regular in Braunschweig last season and who was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga with Eintracht. Steffen has very good athleticism and shows a good physical presence, which will certainly do us good, ” Toni Wachsmuth told the Club’s Official website.
The talented defender made 23 league outings for Eintracht Braunschweig during the 2019/20 league campaign, scoring 2 goals.
