Ghanaian attacker Issah Abass has opened up on making his debut for Dutch side FC Twente after his paper works were formalized.
The Black Meteors forward joined Twente on loan from German side Mainz 05 in early January but his debut was delayed by two weeks due to the unavailability of his work permit.
Abass, 22, made his debut for FC Twente in their 2-2 stalemate against FC Groningen in the Dutch Eredivise last Sunday when he came off the bench to replace Dutch midfielder Thijs van Leeuwen in the 60th minute.
Speaking after making his debut for the club, Abass said, “I think when I came in it was a little bit hard for the team. It was good I can start to play with the team and adopt on how to play. it is good I got some minutes and hoping to get more minutes. I am getting used to how they play”.
