Ghanaian striker Bernard Tekpetey again showcased his impressive scoring form by scoring to power Paderborn in the German Pokal Cup on Tuesday.
The quarter-final which was played at the Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena saw Duisburg, the hosts, picked a 47th minute lead through Brazilian Cauly Oliveira-Souza.
But Tekpetey who has proved that he’s one of the few strikers Ghana Coach Kwasi Appiah can rely on for goals in this year’s AFCON in Egypt equalised for Paderborn in the 52nd minute.
The in-form Bundesliga II side took the lead on the hour mark before German-born Ghanaian Chris Antwi-Adjei rounded up the win to push Paderborn into the last four.
Tekpetey has been in a fine scoring form, registering 5 goals in his last 4 matches.
