Ghana International Jonathan Mensah was on target in Columbus Crew’s 3-2 defeat to Atlanta in the Major League Soccer on Saturday.
The 2009 FIFA U20 World Cup winner headed home a well-taken corner in the 37th minute to reduce his deficit after Ezequiel Barco had bagged a brace to give the visitors the lead.

Marcelino Moreno scored the third goal for Atlanta from another penalty in the 65th minute before Pedro Santos pulled a late goal back for Columbus on the stroke of full-time.
The goal was the Columbus Crew captain’s second of the season.
Columbus Crew are 7th on the League standings with 24 points after 18 games.
