Ghanaian international Kwesi Appiah was the hero of the day on Saturday as his second half strike earned Crawley Town a 2-1 away victory over Leyton Orient in the English League 2.
George Francomb gave the Crawley Town the lead in the 32nd minute with a fine finish before goalkeeper Glenn Morris bundled a ball into his own net in the 62nd to give the home side the equalizer.
Crawley bounced back immediately and took the lead once again in the 66th minute when Appiah found the bottom right corner expertly from Ashley Nadesan’s cutback effort.
Appiah has now netted eight goals in seventeen games for Crawley Town who sit 16th on the league log with twenty points.
