Ghanaian attacking midfielder, Bernard Morrison scored the only goal for Simba SC as they beat Biashara Mara United on Thursday evening.

The former AS Vita Club man grabbed his fifth league goal of the season for the Red and Whites as they closed the gap between them and leaders Yanga SC.

Morrison scored after 22 minutes into the first half to make it 1-0 to the dominant visitors who are chasing for a top spot after leaders Yanga SC dropped points in their recent matches.

The Ghanaian playmaker’s goal was enough to secure all three points for his and got his fifth league goal of the season in Tanzania Premier League.
