Ghana striker Kwasi Okyere Wriedt continued his impressive form at Bayern Munich II as he bagged a hat-trick in his side’s 5-1 win against SV Meppen to register 22 league goals in the German third division on Wednesday night.
The Ghana international opened the scoring on 35 minutes when he converted a spot-kick and doubled the lead two minutes later.
After the break, Rene Guder pulled on back for the visitors at the Grünwalder Stadion.
Wriedt restored Bayern’s two-goal lead with his personal third in the 54th minute.
Derrick Kohn made it 4-1 two minutes later and by the 58th minute Nicolas Kuhn had also scored.
Wriedt is playing his last season for Bayern’s second team having signed for Dutch Eredivisie side Willem II Tilburg.
