Ghanaian striker Elvis Manu came from the bench to score in Ludogorets Razgrad’s defeat in the UEFA Europa League to Austrian side LAsk Linz.
The former Feyenoord FC hitman was introduced to the match at the beginning of the second half to replace Mavis Tchibota on the 46th minute.
The game was still goalless at the time Manu was subbed on and scored the opener few seconds after stepping on the field to put the Green Eagles in the lead.
Philip Wiesinger on the 56th minute equalized for the visitors before Rene Renner scored from the spot on the 62nd-minute mark to turn game in favour of LAsk who were playing with a numerical advantage following Alex Santana’s red card.
Mads Emil Madsen added the icing on the cake on the 67th minute to secure a hard-earned 3-1 away but was not enough to send the Austrian Típico Bundesliga side through as both exited the competition.
Manu ended the UEFA Europa League competition with four goals from the group stages for the Bulgaria giants Ludogorets Razgrad.
