Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Boateng, continued his impressive form at Hapoel Tel Aviv as he scored to help them record a 2-1 win against Black Stars new boy Eugene Ansah’s Hapoel Raanana in the Israel State Cup on Wednesday.
The former Aduana Stars midfielder opened the scoring for the hosts in the 47th minute with a brilliant finish before Idan Shemesh Hapoel Raanana ten minutes to stoppage time to send the game to extra time.
Boateng played one of his best games this season for his side as he starred in the middle throughout the full duration of the match.
The hosts started the first half of the extra strongly and very purposeful in attempt to seal victory.
Their efforts finally paid off when Stefan Spirovski struck in the 110th minute to give Hapoel Tel Aviv a 2-1 lead.
The visitors after going down against pushed very hard to grab the leveller but that didn’t happen as the home side kept their composure in the thrilling clash to snatch a 2-1 win at the end of the entire proceedings.
His compatriot Eugene Ansah who lead Hapoel Raanana’s attack lasted the full duration of the game but failed to score.
