Forward Emmanuel Gyasi scored netted first goal in the Italian Serie A for Spezia Calcio in their 2-2 draw away at Cagliari on Sunday.
The Ghanaian forward scored the game’s opening goal in the 36th minute to put the visitors 1-0 up with a close range finish inside the six yards box.
Cagliari struck back through Joao Pedro seven minutes after the recess in the 52nd minutes of the match to level matters for the hosts.
Six minutes later, Leonardo Pavolettito scored to give the home team a 2-1 lead but that wasn’t enough to secure Cagliari three points them as M’Bala Nzola scored a last-gasp goal after brilliantly converting a penalty to draw the away team level.
The Ghanaian international scored an impressive nine goals to power Spezia Calcio to the Italian Serie A for the first time in hundred and fourteen years.
