Ghanaian forward, Emmanuel Quartsin Gyasi was heavily involved in Spezia Calcio’s historical win in Serie A with an assist against Udinese Calcio on Wednesday.
The Ghanaian forward received a pass on the left flank of the opposition half and swang in a perfect cross which located Andrey Galabinov inside the box to head home the game’s opening goal just before the hour mark.
Gyasi throughout the first half played with confidence and provided his team with a sizzling display in the second round of fixtures in the Italian top-flight.
After the break, Udinese pushed forward in search of an equalizer but all effort proved futile as the defense of Spezia stood firm at the back.
The 26-year-old Ghana attacker was substituted on the 67th minute and was replaced by Martin Erlic.
Galabinov scored a 90th minutes goal to make it 2-0 to the visitors after he struck inside the box into the bottom left corner to grab his brace.
Spezia despite going a man down after 65 minutes did not show any signs of fear as they beat Udinese away from home to secure their first top-flight points in Italian football.
Gyasi has featured in all two games played by Spezia in the league this season with one assist to his name.
