Former Ghana U-17 starman, Emmanuel Toku featured in his team’s 3-2 win in the Bulgarian First Professional League on Saturday evening against CSKA 1948.
The Ghanaian prodigy lasted 90 minutes on the field before he was substituted replaced by Biser Bonev for the additional time period.
Toku, after his two-year loan deal to the Black and Yellows registered his first goal involvement at the club by setting up his team’s third and final goal in their 3-2 win.
The home team scored twice in the first half to go into the first-half break with a healthy lead but the visitors reduced the deficit to one after 68 minutes.
Atanas Iliev restored the home team’s two-goal lead after he was set up by the Ghana youngster but Angel Bastunov scored for the visitors a minute into the additional time.
The game finished 3-2 Botev Plovdiv who moved out of the relegation after the hard-earned narrow win at home.
