Ghanaian international winger, Emmanuel Toku scored in Fremad Amager’s slim win over Danish top-flight side Brondby IF on Thursday evening in Denmark.
The former Ghana U-17 starman played the entire duration of the match for his team as they earned a hard fought narrow victory over the Blue and Yellows to progress to the quarter final of the Danish Cup.
The home team struck first through Emmanuel Toku’s 26th minute strike to take the lead but Mikael Uhre canceled the home team’s lead on the stroke of half time to make it 1-1 before the break.
Nigeria striker, Samson Iyede scored four minutes into extra time to restore the Blue and Whites lead as they hanged onto the lead to beat the Danish Superligaen team 2-1 to seal through to the quarter final of the 2020-21 Danish Cup competition.
The 20-year-old Ghanaian prodigy who has six goals and three assists in the Danish Division One League also have got two goals this season in the Danish Cup for his team Fremad Amager.
