Ghanaian youngsters, Ernest Nuamah and Ibrahim Osman, showcased their brilliance for Danish side FC Nordsjælland during their impressive 4-1 victory against Viborg FF in the opening game of the 2023/24 Danish Superliga on Monday evening.
Ernest Nuamah, who played for 78 minutes, stole the spotlight by scoring a remarkable hat-trick. His compatriot, Ibrahim Osman, played for 73 minutes and played a pivotal role in Nuamah’s second goal, providing a well-executed assist.
The match started with Nordsjælland falling behind as Mads Söndergaard scored for Viborg in the 10th minute. However, Nuamah soon took charge and turned the tide for his team.
In the 29th minute, Nuamah leveled the score, and just before the end of the first half, he received an excellent pass from Ibrahim Osman and netted a sublime goal, giving his team the lead.
In the 59th minute, Nuamah completed his hat-trick with a sensational goal, reminiscent of Arjen Robben’s style. Receiving a pass from Marcus Igvartsen, he skillfully maneuvered past two defenders and curled a beautiful shot beyond the goalkeeper.
Later in the game, Benjamin Nygren sealed the victory for Nordsjælland with another goal, concluding the match with a resounding 4-1 scoreline.
