Black Meteors attacker, Evans Mensah scored his first league goal for Al-Kharaitiyat SC in the Qatari Star League on Thursday evening.

The 22-year-old Ghanaian dribbling magician opened his goal account for his team in their 3-1 away defeat to Qatar SC to remain bottom of the league table 13 matches.

Mohammed Salam scored at the wrong end of the field as his own goal gave the visitors the lead six minutes to the end of the first 45 minutes of the match.

Mohamed Youcef Belaili added the second goal to put the hosts in a two-goal lead before Hamid Ismail added the icing on the cherry three minutes after the hour mark.

The Ghanaian playmaker, Mensah grabbed a consolation for the visitors two minutes from full time to make it a respectable scoreline at least.

The former Inter Allies player has played three games since his loan move from Al-Duhail SC and has a goal and assist each to his credit.
