Former Asante Kotoko striker, Abdul Fatawu Safiu scored a first half hat-trick in Trelleborg FF home win over Dalkurd FF.
The Ghana International forward went seven games without a goal in the Sweden Superettan this season but ended his goal drought in style as he scored three times in 32 minutes for the Blue and Whites on Saturday.
Safiu scored his first goal and his team’s second after eleven minutes when Erik Andersson had already given the host the lead just inside six minutes of the match.
Safiu restored the home team’s two goal lead on the 41st minutes of action after Kerfala Cissoko’s consolation on the 21st minutes mark through a penalty kick.
Two minutes later, the 26-year-old completed his hat-trick as he added the fourth goal to put the host 4-1 up going into the break.
Safiu was subbed off with seven minutes left on the clock as his side cruise to a comfortable win in the Swedes second tier on Saturday evening.
