Ghanaian striker, Elvis Amoh was on target for Rio Grande Valley FC in their away game against El Paso Locomotive on Saturday evening in America.
The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC and West African Football Academy (WAFA) SC player played full throttle for his team as secured a narrow 1-1 draw at El Paso in the United Soccer League.
Six minutes to the end of the opening half of the match, James Murphy picked out Amoh on the left side of the box into with a beautiful pass before the Ghanaian’s left-footed shot from the left side of the box went straight into the bottom right corner to make it 1-0 to the visitors.
Luis Solignac scored from close range on the 68th minute mark to level the score for the home team to cancel Amoh’s earlier strike in the second half to make it 1-1.
The 29-year-old Ghanaian forward has played 10 matches in the USL Championship this year for Valley FC and has scored six goals with one assist to his credit.
