Ghanaian teen sensation Keenan Appiah-Forson was again in top form for West Ham United’s U23 as he scored in their Premier League 2 Division 1 3-1 win against Leicester City U23s last Friday evening.
The 19-year old promising midfielder who put in a promising performance in the Hammers 1-1 draw away at Liverpool U23s last Saturday afternoon, registered his name on the scoresheet in the crucial game.
Freddie Potts opened the scoring for the hosts in the 39 minutes but Kasey McAteer restored parity for Leicester City in the 41st minute.
West Ham pushed for more goals and finally got a 2-1 lead through Appiah-Forson after an hour mark on the clock at the Rush Green Stadium.
Conor Coventry, however, scored in the 74th-minute mark to seal an emphatic 3-1 victory for West Ham United.
Meanwhile, his compatriots Joseph Annang was in the posts and lasted the full duration of the match.
