Ghana’s top talent, Mohammed Kudus scored for AFC Ajax Amsterdam in the Dutch Eredivisie on Thursday afternoon against VVV Venlo at the Johan Cruyff Arena.
The Ghanaian international played 79 minutes of the match as the Dutch Champions beat VVV Venlo 3 – 2 and condemn them to Eerste Divisie, the second tier league of Dutch football.
Devyne Rensch put the hosts 1-0 up early in the game when he finished off a typical team play with a nice finish on the 10th minute.
Former Eintracht Frankfurt striker, Sebastian Haller made it 2-0 to the Red and Whites after the break with a typical strikers goal on the 57th minute mark.
Ajax were reduced to 10-men in the 54th minute, three minutes before they scored their second goal and the visitors started coming into the game after going two-goals behind.
After 76, VVVV Venlo grabbed a consolation goal as their topsman Giorgos Giakoumakis netted his 26 goal in the 2020-21 Dutch Eredivisie season to make it 2-1.
Three minutes later, Mohammed Kudus weeved his way through the Black and Yellows defense before latching home a super strike to make it 3-1 and restore Ajax two-goal advantage and was immediately substituted.
Kudus Mohammed has banged in Five goals and provided three assists in 16 matches for the Dutch Eredivisie Champions this campaign.
