Ghanaian forward, Joel Fameyeh was at his maximum best for FC Orenburg in Russia on Saturday afternoon against Krasnoyarsk as he bagged his 11th league goal of the season.
The 23-year-old predator finisher scored the opening goal of the match to put the visitors 1-0 up after 28 minutes when he reacted quickest inside the box to beautifully slot the ball past the goalkeeper from close range following a cross from the right side of attack.
Eight minutes later, Alexander Zotov grabbed the equalizer for the home team on the 36th-minute mark to level the score before the interval.
After the break, Orenburg continued to search for a second goal and got their reward when Renato Gojkovic scored a bizarre goal as he was hit by the ball from a cross into the goal area to find the right corner to make it 2-1 to the promotion chasers.
Fameyeh enjoyed full throttle as his side secured a vital win on the road to keep their automatic promotion dreams alive after 37 matches with 79 points with five games left.
The former Asokwa Deportivo SC striker has scored 11 goals and provided four assists in 32 appearances for the Blue and Whites.
