Ghanaian forward, Kwadwo Duah scored his ninth goal of the season for FC St Gallen in Switzerland against FC Zürich on Saturday afternoon at home.
The 24-year-old former FC Wil 1900 hitman scored the equalizer for the home team after they felt behind on the stroke of half-time to Benjamin Kololli’s 45th-minute penalty kick.
The Ghanaian forward netted his ninth goal of the season when he received a pass from Victor Ruiz outside the box before his right-footed shot from the outside the goal area found the bottom right corner to level matters for the home team on the 75th-minute mark.
St Gallen are winless in five matches in the Swiss Super League since beating FC Basel 3-1 on February 27th and has dropped from second to 7th position on the league table after 27 matches with 33 points.
Duah’s goal after coming from the bench helped his team to avoid defeat at home and took his goal tally in 24 games to nine with two assists to his credit this campaign for the Green and Whites.
