Ghana’s forward, Mamudu Moro netted brace against AIK on Saturday afternoon in the Sweden Allsvenskan for Mjällby AIF on the road.
The 26-year-old Ghanaian Center-forward was a second half substitute as he came on after 62 minutes of the match and at a time his team was trailing by a lone goal.
Nicholas Stefanelli scored the game’s opening goal in the 11th minute for AIK as they finished the first half in the lead but Moro took two minutes after his introduction to the game to restore parity for Mjällby on the 64th minute mark.
20 minutes to end the match, the Ghanaian striker unleashed a left footed strike into the bottom left corner with his left-footed strike from inside the box to score his brace and put the visitors 2-1 up.
Nine minutes to end proceedings, Stefanelli scored a beauty from the left side of the box into the bottom right corner to snatch a point for the home team who were on the verge of suffering defeat to a determined Mjällby side.
The game ended in a 2-2 stalemate.
Mamudu Moro has now bagged two goals in six outings for the Yellow and Blacks side this season in the Swedes top-flight.
