Ghanaian forward, Grejohn Kyei was on target for Servette FC on Saturday evening against FC Basel in Swiss Super League.
The French-born Ghana attacker netted his team’s first goal in their 2-1 home win over the Switzerland giants to leapfrog them to occupy second spot on the table after 24 matches.
Former Arsenal man, Gael Clichy sent in a pinpoint cross from the left side of the attack and Kyei’s right-footed connection to the ball found the top right corner of the goal post to make it 1-0 to the home team following a VAR review.
Twenty minutes to full time, Gael Undoua scored a scorcher when his left-footed drive from outside the box found the bottom left corner to make it 2-0 to Servette.
Arthur Cabral scored a consolation for the visitors on the 90th-minute mark through a spot-kick to make it 2-1 at the end of the game.
The 25-year-old striker, Kyei, has ten goals, two assists in the Swiss Super League in 22 matches.
