Ghanaian forward Gilbert Koomson opened his goal account for Bodo/Glimt in the Norwegen top-flight on Sunday evening away at Stabaek.
The former SK Brann hitman came from the bench to score the third and final goal of the match to put the icing on the cake.
After a goalless first 45 minutes of the match, Erik Botheim opened the scoring in the second half to break the deadlock inside the first 10 minutes of the second period of the match.
Fredrik André Björkan made it 2-0 to double the away team’s advantage on the 62nd minute mark.
Eight minutes after his introduction to the match, the Ghanaian got in the act as he grabbed his first league goal for the Yellow and Blacks as they comfortably beat Stabaek to open a three points gap at the top of the league table.
After slotting home from the center of the box into the bottom right corner, the 27-year-old now has a goal to his name in three appearances for the club.
