Medeama SC and Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC locked horns at the Akoon Park in Tarkwa for their week four outstanding game on Sunday afternoon.
The Mauves and Yellows went into the game without a win at home this season after drawing their opening two home matches against Accra teams, Great Olympics and Liberty Professionals respectively.
Medeama were the better side in the first 45 minutes of the game but could not utilize their dominance into goals as the first half ended goalless.
After the break, the Porcupines scored ten minutes into the second half but the goal was correctly ruled for an offside against the Kotoko striker Kwame Opoku.
Sixteen minutes to full, captain, Emmanuel Gyamfi beautifully lobbed a through pass over the top to locate striker Kwame Opoku to score the opening goal of game to put the visitors 1-0 up with half an hour left on the clock.
On the 89th minute with little time left on the clock, Medeama were awarded a spot-kick which was expertly converted by Abass Mohammed to restore parity for the hosts.
The match finished one all with Medeama still stuck at the bottom end of the league log after six games.
