Accra Lions left-back, David Oduro, has commenced trials with Chelsea FC in London after departing Ghana at the close of the first round of the Ghana Premier League.
The 17-year-old defender, lauded as one of the league’s standout left-backs, could secure a deal with Chelsea if he impresses during his trial period.
Oduro, recognized for his technical prowess, has consistently earned a spot in the Team of the Week in the Ghanaian topflight league this season.
His impressive performances have not only attracted Chelsea but also drawn interest from other clubs, including La Liga side Real Sociedad and Shakhtar.
The young talent, a graduate of Achimota Senior High School, has been an integral part of Accra Lions’ first team for the past two seasons.
