Ghanaian international striker, Joel Fameyeh was on fire for his club FC Orenburg in Russia on Sunday afternoon as they Walloped Veles Moscow at home.
The former Asokwa Deportivo SC striker grabbed his second brace of the season for the Blue and Whites to secure a vital home win to close the gap between them and the leaders to three points after playing a game more than the league leaders Krylya Sovetov.
With sixteen minutes played inside the first half, Fameyeh rose highest in the goal area to produce a powerful header to find the back of the net to put the hosts 1-0 up.

Twelve minutes later after scoring the opening goal of the match, the Ghanaian striker netted his ninth goal of the season and his second in the match from a very improbable angle on the right hand side of attack to make it 2-0 to his side after squeezing the ball past the goalkeeper.

The first half finished 2-0 to the hosts who were the better side right from the blast of the referee’s whistle and dominated the entire first 45 minutes of the match.
Dmiitri Vorobyov grabbed the third goal of the match to make it 3-0 to put the game beyond the reach of the visitors as his insurance goal cemented second place on the log for the Blue and Whites after 33 matches in the league.
The 23-year-old predator finisher played full 73 minutes for his team as they recorded their 20th league win of the season in the Russian National Football League.
Fameyeh’s first half brace takes his total tally in the league after playing 29 games to nine with two assists to his credit.
