Ghanaian forward, Joel Fameyeh scores his sixth league goal for FC Orenburg in Russia on his injury return on Sunday afternoon.
The 23-year-old predator finisher came from the bench to score the winner for his team’s 2-1 home win over Krylya Sovetov in the Russian National Football League.
Alexey Mironov opened the scoring in the first half after just five minutes of play to put the hosts 1-0 up early in the game as the half ended in Orenburg’s favour.
After the interval, Aleksandr Soldatenkov restored parity for the visitors six minutes after the hour mark to make it 1-1 with 24 minutes left on the clock.
Andrea Chukanov was Red-carded on the 70th minute mark leaving the home team to play the last 20 minutes with 10-men.
The former Asokwa Deportivo SC striker was subbed on in the 79th minute of the match to replace Aleksandr Ektov and converted an 87th minute penalty to help his side secure a vital 2-1 home win to go third on the league log in the Russia Second Tier.
The Ghanaian forward has scored six goals in 21 matches for Orenburg this season despite suffering a lot of injury setback.
