Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC striker, Francis Andy Kumi came from bench to bag his third league goal of the season in his team’s victory over Dreams FC.
The former Unistar Academy product was a second half substitute as he came on the grab a goal for the Porcupine Warriors in their 3-1 win at home.
Dreams FC struck first in the first half from the spot but Kotoko canceled the lead with a Vinicius Silva strike before the break.
Five minutes after the break, the 22-year-old striker came on to replace the goal scorer on the 50th minute mark in the second half of the match when the score was still 1-1.
Kotoko scored six minutes later when their stalwart defender Ismael Abdul Ganiu converted a spot kick to make it 2-1.
The young striker made his mark on the 78th minute mark with the third goal of the game to make it 3-1 at the end of the match to send Kotoko top of the league table after 23 matches with 41 points.
