Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC striker, Abdul Fatawu Safiu opened his goal account for Trelleborgs FF in the Sweden Superettan on Saturday afternoon against Vasalunds IF.
The Ghanaian forward came from the bench to score the equalizer for the away team on the 62nd minute after falling behind on the 55th mark to Mai Traore’s strike.
Eight minutes later, Johan Blomberg grabbed the second goal to put the Blue and Whites team in the lead after 70 minutes with 20 minutes left on the clock.
Trelleborgs lead did not last for long when Anthony Wambani scored a beauty three minutes later to make 2-2 on the 73rd and there were no more goals as it ended in a 2-2 draw.
The 26-year-old Ghanaian Center-forward has played twice in the Sweden Superettan this season all coming from the bench as a substitute and has one goal to his name.
