Black Meteors forward Matthew Anim Cudjoe produced a spectacular assist in his Legon Cities Ghana Premier League week 26 2-0 home win against Aduana Stars on Sunday evening.
The Royals after the victory moved to 11th place on the Ghana Premier League standings to bolster the relegation survival dream.
Anim Cudjoe expertly set up sprinter Jonah Attuquaye to put the hosts ahead after 13 minutes into the game before defender Joseph Adjei scored from the spot to give them a 2-0 win, getting Asamoah Gyan’s side their 32nd point of the season.
Richmond Antwi’s strike was handled by an Aduana Stars player in the box and Adjei who has been named in the Black Stars squad for the two international friendlies against Morocco and Ivory Coast stepped out to calmly convert the penalty.
The former Asante Kotoko teen star has been named in Coach Paa Kwesi Fabian’s squad for the Ghana U-23 international friendlies against Japan and South Korea next month.
