Ghanaian youngster, Yunus Musah scored his first professional goal in the Spanish La Liga as his side Valencia drew 1-1 at home to Getafe.
The 17-year-old versatile midfielder opened his goal account for his new club at the Estadio de Mestalla against Getafe on Sunday.
Musah opened the scoring in the first half for Valencia on the 22nd minute of the match from the center of the box into the bottom right corner with his right foot to make it 1-0 to the hosts.
Juan Hernández and Angel Rodríguez scored for Getafe before Carlos Soler scored the the equalizer on the 100th minute from the spot to make sure the teams share the spoils on the day.
Musah, Born in America has a goal in seven games for Valencia in the Spanish La Liga this campaign.
The youngster’s goal sets a new record for Spanish top-flight team Valencia CF as he became the youngest goalscorer ever in the 21st century in the club’s history.
The Ghanaian youngster also became the youngest foreign goalscorer of the Estadio de Mestalla club entire history at age 17 years, 338 days.
