Cameroonian top striker Vincent Aboubakar has revealed that Besiktas has reinstated him to the team after he was excluded from the squad.
The 31-year-old alongside four other players were excluded from the Besiktas team due to poor performances and incompatibilities within the team.
In an Instagram post, the former FC Porto forward said on his rumoured hair transplant, “Let’s stop these stupid accusations immediately. I have not done any hair treatments this season. I treated my hair last summer, after the last season ended and before the pre-season started”.
Aboubakar cleared the air on his behaviour in the Besiktas squad, “I haven’t had any disagreements or unruly behaviours with anyone this season. Nothing!”
On his exclusion from the squad, he said,
“The club has already reassessed the situation and sent me an email confirming my reinstatement. So stop with your force, and actionable accusations and let me do my job”, he added.
Vincent Aboubakar is expected to lead the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in the imminent AFCON in Ivory Coast for their 6th title.
